About Me
My name is Alhagie Suwaneh, I am 19 years old, and I am from Lorton, VA. I spent my freshman year at Old Dominion University on campus, and transitioned online to balance my home life and academic goals. My path into cybersecurity comes mainly from watching my family work in it for years — my brother, father, and sister inspired me — but I chose the major because of an interest sparked by computer classes I took when I was younger.
Outside of my education, I am a basketball player and a constant learner. Basketball keeps me focused and disciplined, and in my free time I read, write, and listen to podcasts on a wide range of topics. This is my first ePortfolio, and I am eager to use it for my coursework and professional growth in the cybersecurity field.
